The Barn. Mas Santa Caterina

Rural holiday accommodation in Sobrestany, Costa Brava

Near to the Montgrí Massif, between the villages of Bellcaire de l'Empordà and l'Escala, at the very border of the Parc del Montgrí, you'll find the cottage Mas Santa Caterina in the neighborhood of Sobrestany. Sobrestany, that means about 20 cottages in a quiet and peaceful, natural space.
Mas Santa Caterina is a farm with two separated parts, the Barn and the Cottage. The Barn has been refurbished in 2016 and is offered for short stays. The Cottage (called Masia in Catalan) is the older part of the ensemble and is being used mainly by the owners.

The Barn

The Barn offers space for up to 5 guests on 145 square meters. It has a large bedroom with its own shower and bathroom, a second bedroom with a bunk bed and a separate bathroom with shower and a mezzanine that can be used also as a sleeping space for one or even two guests more. It has also a open kitchen and a large dining and living space. In front of those, the terrace is for the exclusive use of the Barn. The garden and the swimming pool are shared with the occupants of the Cottage.

The kitchen is equipped with an induction hub, dishwasher and fridge. Basics are available (salt, oil...) and are being replaced by the occupants. A washing machine is also available.
